WHAT OUT OF STATE PLAYERS NEED TO BRING FOR DORMS/BASEBALL

Here is a list of items that players will need to bring with them for the upcoming season:

For Dorms:

Bedding- beds are twin tall for linens. Also bring pillows and blankets

Shower necessities

TV’s and Computers optional (Wireless Internet and cable are available)

Mini refrigerators will be available for rent for a minimal cost upon arrival

Laundry detergent (washers and dryers are available in the dorms)

For the Baseball:

Players need to bring either grey or white pants (preferably both if capable). Also, bring black belt and black socks. Jerseys and hat will be supplied to each player.

Bring wood bats. All legal wood and composite wood bats are allowed in the ACWBL.

Bring gloves, cleats, batting gloves, etc…

Very important- Sunblock and plenty of water. Players can get dehydrated very easy here in the summer.

Marucci Bat Special

The ACWBL features Marucci bats for 2012 season. These bats are the pro stock models available in 33 inch and 34 inch. Options are either black with cupped barrel or white with cupped barrel. Prices are $55 per bat. If interested email dobes25@hotmail.com or travisakre@hotmail.com.

The ACWBL still has roster spots available for the 2012 summer season. The season starts June 11th and we are taking registration forms until June 7th. If you have any questions, you may contact us via email or phone numbers listed below.

Incoming Flights

Players that are flying in on June 9th to stay in the dorms, please email us at dobes25@hotmail.com with your flight itinerary and we will have someone there to pick you up and bring you to the dorms. We will picking up players from 8 am to 8 pm. If your flight comes in before or after these times, please take a taxi to the dorms. It is about 10 minutes from the airport. The dorm name is Barrett Hall and the address is 698-798 Apache Blvd. East, Tempe Az 85281. Please text (602) 768-0589 or (507) 313-9302, if there are delays in your flights.

Rosters

Team rosters will be formed during the month of May and into early June. As soon as they are completed, players will be contacted by their coach with practice times, team name, etc. As of colors for specific teams, we recommend players to use a black belt and black socks. Black will tie in with each team color. Also, players will need to provide their own white or grey pants (or both).
